How dehydrated skin differs from dry skin and how to restore its health and beauty

How to combat it
First of all, dehydration is a lack of water. Therefore, the first thing you should do is set up a drinking plan. Combine this with a healthy diet and adequate sleep. All of this will help your body to recharge with moisture.

If you are dehydrated, internal moisturizing is not enough, you also need to moisturize externally. Proper care includes moisturizing creams, thermal waters and masks for dehydrated skin. And no soap! It dries out your skin even more and leads to flaking and a feeling of tightness. Instead, use milk for washing. It’s also worth giving up cleansing scrubs for a while, as they only traumatize the skin even more.

How to choose the right cream for dry skin
Its composition should include:

Hyaluronic acid or glycerin – they have a softening effect and eliminate flaking;
Wax, vegetable oils, fatty acids – retain moisture;
Vitamins C, E, B – they have a toning effect;
Magnesium and calcium – have a calming and anti-inflammatory effect;
Elastin and collagen to restore elasticity;
Sun filter – protects against UV rays.
